Kalem Uttinger Company Director

From a young age I have always had an interest in building. My Dad is a builder, and as a young kid I spent a lot of time following him around, to begin with watching, learning and eventually helping him with projects. Throughout school I excelled in creative subjects notably graphic design and woodworking.

At the age of 16 I decided my bedroom was too small, so I built my own cabin. Realising my passion for crafting and building, I left school early and went straight into a building apprenticeship for Atrium Homes, specialising in high-end builds.

Since then I have moved on to start my own company with a focus on hand crafted, bespoke timber creations.

As Kalem’s partner I support him in his business, taking care of the marketing and administration so that he can spend more time on the tools, doing what he loves.
